Brewing is a water and energy intensive process. Typical craft beers use about 7 pints of water to produce a pint of beer. The wastewater generated demands high energy footprint and is expensive to treat/dispose. During the recent drought, Lagunitas faced significant roadblocks to growth due to lack of available water.
Join us to learn about how they used technology and process improvements to reduce the water footprint by 70% while generating energy from the wastewater. This allowed the brewery to meet the market demand and position itself as a leader in both brewing and sustainable industry practices.
